Product background packs — commercial licence
These exist to be put in front of customers, so the licence says yes to the things a seller actually needs.
You may
- ✓ Use them in paid advertising, on any platform.
- ✓ Use them as backgrounds for your own product photos and shop listings.
- ✓ Use them in social posts, stories, reels and email campaigns.
- ✓ Use them on your website, shop banners and printed marketing.
- ✓ Edit, crop, recolour and combine them with your own work.
- ✓ Use them for unlimited clients and projects, with no attribution.
You may not
- ✗ Resell or redistribute the files themselves, as-is or edited.
- ✗ Include them in another asset pack, template or stock library.
- ✗ Claim authorship of the images.
- ✗ Register them, or anything derived from them, as a trademark.
The licence is perpetual and does not expire. A copy ships inside every pack as LICENCE.txt.
Wallpaper collections — personal use
You may
- ✓ Use the wallpapers on any device you personally own — desktop, laptop, tablet, phone.
- ✓ Use them on your work computer.
- ✓ Keep and re-download the files for as long as you have the purchase link.
You may not
- ✗ Resell, redistribute, or give away the files, individually or as a set.
- ✗ Include them in another product, template, app, or wallpaper pack.
- ✗ Use them in advertising or client work — that is what the commercial licence above is for.
- ✗ Claim authorship of the images.
- ✗ Print and sell them as physical goods.
Need commercial rights for a wallpaper collection specifically? Ask — it is usually fine and usually cheap.
Refunds
These are instant digital downloads, so a refund cannot un-deliver the files. That said: if a collection is not what you expected, or a file is broken, email within 14 days and it will be refunded. No argument, no form to fill in. Checkout and refunds are handled by Gumroad.
